Sudafed 'Super breathing' TVC & OOH

This campaign was a seminal moment in my career. I'd been working as a freelancer for JWT and was brought back in some months later by the legend that is Russell Ramsay to be the CD for the shoot. It was a big deal for me as I'd not been the lead creative on a project this big before. The shoot took place in Kyiv and we nailed two TVC's in two days. 'Pen' and 'Annoying colleague'. Working with the Bond (James not Brooke), stunt men on annoying colleague was a joy to behold. If you need a woman yanked forty feet backwards in a chair at lightning speed, then these are your guys. The pen TVC was particularly exhilarating as not only were we shooting 1km down in the very grand Kiev underground but the authorities informed us just before we rolled that our permit only allowed us one train journey ,or 43 minutes, to film the whole ad. The directors Zak and Ben were cooler than a lorry of refrigerated cucumbers and nailed it. The client was so happy with the ads that he found a bit more budget for a 48 sheet special build, which featured in Campaign top 10 poster ads.
